UNICEF is looking for a creative and energetic programme monitoring consultant to support global analysis and use of our COVID-19 monitoring information.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic UNICEF has over 127 country-level active emergency responses covering programming on risk communication and community engagement, infection prevention and control, and response to socioeconomic impacts. We have established a global Programme Monitoring and Analysis framework for COVID-19, which includes 18 monthly humanitarian output indicators, 31 quarterly ‘standard output indicators’ (used in our country programmes), and some ‘progress markers’ influenced by outcome mapping.

The home-based consultant will help us undertake three rounds of qualitative and quantitative analysis of our monitoring information – including comparison of programme data and situation data) to support uptake and use of programme performance insights, as well as continuous improvement of our monitoring system.
