The World Bank (WB) is the world’s largest multilateral institution with 189 member countries and offices in over 130 locations. The Bank provides a wide array of financial products and technical assistance and is committed to developing sustainable solutions to reduce poverty and build shared prosperity in developing countries. In 2020, WB delivered record levels of financing at an unprecedented pace amounting to US$98.8 billion.

In response to the increasing interest from the development community towards the World Bank’s operations, DevelopmentAid will host a thematic webinar on 18th of November, 2021 at 4:00 pm (Brussels) / 10:00 am (Washington DC) to explore the Bank’s procurement guidelines and discover the best practices for fruitful collaboration.

During the webinar, attendees will learn about WB’s global activity, portfolio, and procurement policy. You will be able to participate in discussions by submitting your questions.

Speaker: Nancy Bikondo-Omosa, Sr. Procurement Specialist for the World Bank’s Operations Policy & Country Services unit. She brings over 18 years of procurement experience in World Bank procurement policies and procedures.
