The Social and Human Sciences (SHS) sector of UNESCO, and NIRAS International Consulting, and the  European Evaluation Society (EES)  are hosting the First Futures Literacy Laboratory for Evaluators, on the Future of Evaluation in Society, which will take place during the virtual Global High Level Summit on Futures Literacy, from December 8 to December 12, 2020.

In Futures Literacy Laboratories, participants learn to challenge the ways they construct images about the future and begin to invent new frames to imagine tomorrow. In this lab, participants will develop their understanding of why and how to ‘use-the-future’ and the opportunity to rethink the future of evaluation in society.

Please find attached more information on the lab and an invitation. It will take place online during two days – December 9 at 14.00 to 17.00 central European time; and December 10 at 14.00 to 17.00 central European time.  A public session will take place on December 11, which lab participants will discuss and present finding from the lab.

There are limited places available, so if you are interested in participating in this unique opportunity, please let us know by registering by November 20th here

In the meantime, here is a short clip about futures literacy: https://youtu.be/SBGuWa3MmLE
