Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) provides training and support to a network of environmental journalists across the globe. The aim of this project is to do a deep dive into outcomes identified through the course of our work, to better understand the real-world impacts of EJN’s work on communities and policy-makers. The Outcome Harvesting methodology will be used to guide this work.

A lead researcher is required to oversee this research project, which is running from September until December 2020, with the final report to be completed in January 2021. The position will coordinate a small team of researchers to investigate and substantiate outcomes. The project methodology has already been designed, but we are looking for an experienced researcher, preferably with experience in using Outcome Harvesting and/ or qualitative research in the fields of media development or environmental journalism, to ensure the research is completed to a high standard using rigorous methods.
