This webinar will present concrete experiences on innovative options for reaching increased and sustained social protection financing. It will provide insights on the “Improving Synergies between Social Protection and Public Finance Management” (SP&PFM) programme, funded by the European Union (EU) and jointly implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO), UNICEF and the Global Coalition for Social Protection Floors (GCSPF). The programme provides support to 18 low-income countries to strengthen their social protection systems. Speakers will share country experiences presented by the SP&PFM programme teams in Nepal and Senegal, focusing on methodologies, tools, lessons learned and current challenges.
