Description:
This summer, Dr. Tiffany Berry will return to TEI to teach Managing for Success: Planning, Implementation, and Reporting. Tiffany is a full research professor and the Dean of the School of Social Science, Policy & Evaluation at Claremont Graduate University. Her research stems from her experience evaluating education programs that aim to improve developmental and educationally significant outcomes among children and adolescents. Tiffany has published more than 75 technical evaluation reports and peer-reviewed articles in leading evaluation journals (American Journal of Evaluation and New Directions for Evaluation) and youth development journals (Journal of Early Adolescence).

Program evaluations are often complex, challenging, multi-faceted endeavors that require evaluators to juggle stakeholder interests, funder requirements, data collection logistics, and their internal teams. Fortunately, many of these challenges can be minimized with effective evaluation management. In Managing for Success: Planning, Implementation, and Reporting, you will receive tools, resources, and strategies that will intentionally build your project management toolkit so that you can manage your evaluations successfully. This two-day course is best suited for novice and mid-level professionals seeking to strategically build project management skills in the evaluation context.

Managing for Success: Planning, Implementation, and Reporting is an Evaluation Foundations course for the Certificate in Evaluation Practice (CEP) and an elective course for the Certificate in Advanced Evaluation Practice (CAEP).
