IDEV is seeking a Data Scientist Consultant for a position based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The Data Scientist Consultant will help build and enhance data science capacity within IDEV and its application to evaluation work through a variety of methods and processes. The consultant will effectively leverage digital technologies such as big data, blockchain, geo-spatial data, social media, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, etc. for evaluation design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, reporting and dissemination. The work will involve a mix of hands-on data science skills, in addition to coaching and advising teams and individuals on use of data science to support evaluations.
Candidates qualified in information technology management or data management and analytics that meet the criteria set out in the Terms of Reference are invited to express their interest in this six-month contract by the closing date, 30 October 2023. A full proposal will be requested from consultants who are shortlisted.
