Description:
Brot für die Welt has 5 Regional Offices that represent Brot für die Welt/ EWDE in their specific region. They are responsible for collaboration and coordination with partner organisations in their geographical area. In addition, the Regional Offices cooperate with units based in the Head Office (Berlin, Germany) and with DKH.
The Evaluation of Brot für die Welt´s Regional Offices will assess the structures, performance and effects of Brot für die Welt´s 5 Regional Offices (including their contribution to the implementation of Brot für die Welt’s Strategy 2021+). It will take into account the tasks performed by the offices and interactions with the Head Office, partner organisations, adjacent country programs, with Regional Offices in other regions, DKH offices and relevant stakeholders.
The main purpose of this evaluation is to generate lessons learnt and to devise recommendations for future Brot für die Welt work, strategies, organisational set-up and cooperation with DKH.
Together with 1,500 partner organisations, Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World Germany) works in over 80 countries worldwide for human rights and peace, against hunger, poverty and injustice. Brot für die Welt is part of the Evangelisches Werk für Diakonie und Entwicklung e. V. (EWDE), the Social Service Agency of the German Protestant Church, as is Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH).
