Join us for MethodsNET Launch events, October 2024!

We have three events coming up at the end of the year—the First MethodsNET Conference, Methods Workshops, and a Community of  Practice—and we would love for you to be a part of them.

Join us for MethodsNET Launch Events from October 30th to November 2nd, 2024, at UCLouvain, Louvain La Neuve, Belgium. MethodsNET Launch Events are dedicated to advancing methodologies across the social, behavioral, and human sciences, encompassing quantitative, qualitative, critical, interpretivist, and mixed-method approaches.

You can choose to attend one, two, or all three events to share your work, experiences, and insights with fellow experts and researchers and contribute to the evolution of methods.

  1. Research Methods Teaching Community of Practice, October 30, 2024 – Join us for practical discussions and workshops covering various aspects of the research process, easily adaptable for course design, assignments, or in-class activities. Engage with us in building a devoted community.
  2. First MethodsNET Conference, 31. October – 1. November 2024 – Propose papers and presentations of work in progress, as well as panels with papers and participatory sessions, and join us in uniting a diverse community of methods specialists and users, ranging from seasoned experts to early-career researchers.
  3. Methods Development and Innovation Workshops, 1-2 November 2024 – If you’re pioneering new methods, expanding existing ones, or embracing innovative research approaches, seize the opportunity to showcase and develop your contributions by proposing dynamic workshops (half or full day).

You can shape the launch event program with us, by submitting your paper or presentation, panel or workshop proposal by June 20th, 2024. Additionally, you can join us as a participant for each of these three events, with registration opening on July 4th.

We look forward to your contributions and participation in shaping the future of research methods!
