Subsidized Transformative Safeguarding Course starts in September, and we’d love to include any of you who can benefit from it.
This is an online, interactive training that brings together people from all around the world to look at our safeguarding policies and practices through a new lens. We focus on decolonial, contextualized approaches to mainstream a culture shift that helps staff move beyond compliance. It’s fun, inspiring, challenging, and guest speakers include:

- Oluwatosin Adenuga (National Expert Board Member, Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub; Safeguarding Advisor, Shelterbox, Funders Safeguarding Collaborative, Plan International, etc)

- Samwel Maphie(International Safeguarding Consultant and Advisor, UNICEF, Prince’s Trust, Restless Development, etc)

Each session is based around a different pillar of the Justice Based Approach and includes a Transformative Safeguarding Toolkit that will support organisations to design, implement, evaluate, and audit their safeguarding work. It’ll be an awesome learning experience for safeguarding experts and dynamic newcomers alike and is relevant for staff in any area of expertise or level of seniority.
