Evaluating Voices for Change

Location: Online

Date: 23 July, 2025 – 9 am EST

As efforts to decolonize development and centre local knowledge grow, so too has interest in reshaping how we learn and measure change. Since 2020, gender equality specialists Anna Du Vent, Elaine Stavnitzky, and Jenn Donville have been co-developing a feminist-MEAL* spectrum — a practical tool to help organizations reflect on and strengthen their feminist and gender transformative approaches to monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning MEAL* in international development and humanitarian aid projects.

Refined through years of collaboration with colleagues across organizations like Oxfam, Plan Canada, and CanWaCH, this spectrum is grounded in real-world experience and evolving practice.
