Brief Outline of the Project:
Caritas Switzerland is commissioning the final evaluation of two multisectoral humanitarian projects in Ukraine: CARE4U III (Zaporizka, Kharkivska, Dnipropetrovska) and RISE (Odeska, Mykolaivska, Khersonska). Both projects support conflict-affected populations through Shelter, Protection, and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) interventions, targeting approximately 7,500 individuals each.
Evaluators will work closely with implementing partners (Caritas Ukraine and Caritas Spes Ukraine), review all project documentation, and propose appropriate methodologies and tools. The evaluation will cover the full project duration (July 2024–August/September 2025).
We invite qualified evaluators to apply and contribute to learning, accountability, and future project design.
We search for:
- Consultant (individual or company) with relevant professional and academic background and proven experience in humanitarian evaluation.
- Technical expertise in one (preferably more) of the following technical areas: Shelter, MHPSS and Protection.
- Familiarity with the Ukraine context is preferred
- Ability to set up or draw on a team of local enumerators to perform the primary data collection with some but minimal support from Caritas (e.g. organizing FGDs, conducting high-quality household surveys).
