Currently preparing a proposal for a capacity-building project in Afghanistan and are seeking an International Trainer on Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA), subject to project award.
The role requires the following qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
- 8–10 years of professional experience in Climate Smart Agriculture
- Proven experience delivering training for international development projects
- Strong technical expertise in CSA for dryland and drought-prone contexts
- Experience in Afghanistan or similar contexts (asset)
- Strong facilitation, communication, and adult-learning skills
- Knowledge of farming systems and climate challenges relevant to Afghanistan
- Ability to use digital tools and develop high-quality training materials
