Maria Margareta Akalla

Maria has a proven track record as a project manager leading diverse projects with varying levels of complexity, with extensive experience in evaluation and analysis across multiple policy areas.

She is skilled in developing and presenting analytical reports tailored to different audiences and in teaching evaluation methods, including the application of program logic. Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Her current role is to evaluate research initiatives and policies to inform decisions on continued funding and future investments and is also to analyse the prerequisites necessary for enabling research of high quality.

Her current work concerns complex analysis projects, including mapping the research infrastructure (RI) landscape in Sweden, and developing evaluation measures for RI funding.
