In observance of the World Day of Social Justice on 20 February 2026, the seventh Future of Evaluation dialogue brings together social justice activists, evaluation practitioners, policymakers, academia and young evaluators to explore the multi-faceted role of evaluation as a transformative mechanism for addressing systemic inequalities and advancing global social justice. The dialogue will examine the role of participatory and inclusive evaluation approaches in shifting power and amplifying marginalized voices. The dialogue will further explore the use of evaluation as a mechanism for accountability for social justice outcomes and highlight the growing importance of real-time and adaptive evaluation approaches that capture social justice in complex and evolving contexts.
