This webinar brings together some of the authors that participated in the second volume of the compendium ‘100 years of social protection: The road to universal social protection systems and floors’ (ILO, 2023), which presents 52 case studies. Participants will discuss the importance of integrating social protection and job creation policies, as well as social protection financing and coordination, to help achieve just transitions to formalisation, green economies, and decent work in the care economy. The case studies will provide the basis for a further discussion. This session will be an opportunity to present and discuss the Global Accelerator on Jobs and Social Protection for Just Transitions research agenda.
