The increasing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in evaluation offers unprecedented analytical capabilities. This session proposes to examine the perception of the interaction between AI and human expertise in the practice of evaluation. Participants will reflect on how emerging evaluators (EEs) can harness AI to transform their practices. They will gain practical knowledge on: the perception of the role of AI in evaluation; the risks and challenges of using AI tools perceived by emerging evaluators; the skills identified to work with AI.
