The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Inspectorate General (IG) Directorate, Operations Evaluation (EV) Division, Knowledge Management, Products & Methods (KPM) Unit at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a (Associate) Evaluator. This is a full time position at grade 4/5.
The term of this contract will be 4 years.
Panel interviews are anticipated for end of April/early May 2021.
The EIB offers fixed-term contracts of up to a maximum of 6 years, according to business needs, with a possibility to convert to a permanent contract, subject to organisational requirementsand individual performance.
Purpose
Within the Evaluation Division of the EIB Group (IG/EV), the candidate will contribute to the design, implementation and dissemination of evaluations on quality and results of the EIB Group’s operations, notably by undertaking in-depth evaluations of the EIB Group’s activities, with a view to improving operational performance, accountability and transparency. Evaluations ensure that the EIB Group is accountable for its activities and learns from its experiences. IG/EV ensures its evaluations are impartial and objective.
Operating Network
As (Associate) Evaluator, internally referred to as Analyst/Officer Lending Evaluation, you will report to the Head of Unit (Knowledge Management, Products & Methods) in the Evaluation Division of the Inspectorate General (IG/EV). Within the framework of specific evaluations, the (Associate) Evaluator may also work under the responsibility of a Senior Evaluator and an Evaluation Expert. You will have regular contact with colleagues across all Directorates within the EIB Group. IG/EV has constant interactions with stakeholders within and outside the EIB Group, to ensure the usefulness and dissemination of its work.
