The Office of Evaluation (OED) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is launching the Mid-Term Evaluation of the Forest Farm Facility (FFF) and is currently looking for potential candidates to join the evaluation team.
We are looking for a Lead Consultant and 3-4 national and/or regional Experts with significant evaluation experience (preferably some in the UN system) and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Community forestry, rural development and natural resource governance, with a focus on smallholder producers organisations and policy dialogue;
- Enterprise development and forest and farm producer organizations, indigenous peoples, gender, climate change mitigation and adaptation and governance issues in the context of rural development;
- Evaluation, including participatory approaches, preferably of forestry projects and/or programs;
- In depth experience in at least one of the three regions of focus for the programme (i.e. Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and Eastern Asia) .
