The CDC Evaluation Fellowship Program aims to expand the capacity of CDC programs to conduct evaluation and increase its usefulness and impact. Started in 2011 with an initial class of five Fellows, the Fellowship has about 20 Fellows each year. Though the Fellowship has grown dramatically in just a few years, it remains highly competitive, with selection of only about 10% of applicants each year.

The Fellowship is intended to be a two-year program, with the second year being contingent on satisfactory performance and availability of funds. Fellows become CDC employees (Term FTE) for the duration of the Fellowship and receive employee benefits, such as medical insurance and sick and vacation leave. Salary is based on education level and experience. Fellows also receive substantial financial support for professional development.

Applications are being accepted until [EXTENDED TO] APRIL 14.  To apply or for more information, go to: https://www.cdc.gov/eval/fellowship/index.htm
