Description:
Looking for a consultant/group of consultants to conduct the endline evaluation of ClowNexus – a three-year project implemented with partner organisations in seven countries financed by the EU under the Creative Europe programme. The project explores how healthcare clowns and humour can be used to develop stronger social connections, and enable better communication with people living with dementia, children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their caregivers.
• Assess the impact of ClowNexus including but not limited to comparing end of project values for indicators in the ClowNexus logframe against the baseline. Indicators center on the target groups – their well-being, social inclusion and access to interactive artistic performances, and on the capacity of artists and care institution staff to serve vulnerable groups, collaborate with others for learning, measuring impact and raising awareness of healthcare clowning and its benefits.
• Consolidate understanding of what learning tools and activities the implementing partner organisations and artists involved used and provide a nuanced picture of their effectiveness, relevance and impact. The evaluation should support the preparation of an open source Learning Toolkit.
• Support dissemination of the learning component of ClowNexus. One such opportunity will be presented in the validation workshop at the ClowNexus closing event in Vienna at the end of September, however the evaluators are encouraged to explore other dissemination opportunities including at the level of partner organisations in the different countries.
• Provide recommendations to support the sustainability of the results achieved by ClowNexus.
