The International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) is a treaty-based international organization with headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands. Its mandate is to secure the cooperation of governments and others in locating missing persons.
ICMP is implementing a multi-year grant to assist Iraqi authorities to develop a sustainable process of accounting for missing persons and to ensure the rights of families of the missing are secured. Part of this assistance is to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) in increasing the participation of families in accounting for their missing relatives and to build bridges with the Iraqi authorities mandated by law to address the issue. To support CSOs to further their advocacy with families of the missing, ICMP seeks a qualified proposal writing and fundraising expert.
