The registration is now open for the APEA webinar on “Culturally Responsive Evaluation – What it is and how to incorporate it into evaluation practice” which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 23rd January , 2024, at 11:30 AM IST.

The speaker of this webinar is Dr. Kathryn Dinh, Author of the ‘Asia Pacific Worldviews in Evaluation’ Study and Director of Lotus Evaluation.

Speaker’s Profile: Kathryn Dinh is a monitoring, evaluation and learning consultant of Australian-Vietnamese heritage with 26 years of experience across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. Kathryn has conducted research into incorporating Southeast and East Asian world views into evaluation methods for her PhD in culturally responsive evaluation and completed research for the Dr Sulley Gariba Memorial Lecture at  4th APEA conference.  Kathryn also specialises in evaluation of international development programs in health security, health systems strengthening, public health and in advocacy evaluation. She has been a consultant MEL Advisor for the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Health Security Initiative and Vaccine Access and Health Security Initiative – rolling out health systems strengthening and COVID-19 support to more than 18 countries in the Indo-Pacific. She is now an evaluation advisor for DFAT-funded health systems strengthening programs in the Indo-Pacific, and recently led a review of Australia’s Health Security Partnership with Indonesia.
