Description: ADB’s Independent Evaluation Department (IED) and Uzbekistan Resident Mission (URM) are participating in a panel discussion as part of the gLOCAL Evaluation Week 2023 convened by the Global Evaluation Initiative (GEI) together with local and global partners. This year, gLOCAL will look at three important thematic areas that are crucial for the practice and institutionalization of M&E: Culture, Context, and Collaboration.

The joint event aims to share, with a wide range of stakeholders, IED’s evaluation knowledge on Uzbekistan. It will stock take lessons learned from past challenges and implications for future ADB operations in Uzbekistan, highlighting the role of culture, context, and collaboration in achieving results. The interactive discussion will be on IED’s major evaluations and project completion reports, summarized by Uzbekistan CPS, 2019-2023 final review, as well as on challenges and opportunities in achieving national SDGs through development projects.
