Description:
Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV) at the African Development Bank (AfDB) invites Expression of Interest from Consultancy Firms for an Evaluation of the AfDB’s Support for Transport Sector (2012-2022). The purpose of the evaluation is to generate evidence-based findings, draw broadly applicable lessons, and propose recommendations that could inform future strategic and operational directions for the Bank’s assistance in the transport sector.
The services to be provided include a Literature and Policy Review, Benchmarking, Project Performance Evaluation Reports, Country/Regional/Thematic case studies, a Qualitative Comparative Analysis on selected cases of interest, a Cluster Evaluation Report of AfDB Rail and Aviation Projects, and a Transport Sector Evaluation Technical Report.
The consultancy will be home based and services are expected to start in November 2023; the final technical evaluation report is expected to be produced in June 2024.
