Description:
Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV) at the African Development Bank (AfDB) seeks expressions of interest from consulting firms in supporting an evaluation of the implementation of the AfDB’s “One Bank” Approach since 2019.
The assignment shall involve (a) desk reviews and preliminary consultations with key stakeholders to develop a solid understanding of the goals, scope, and context of the evaluation; (b) data collection and analysis; and (c) producing a case study report, an online questionnaire survey report, a benchmarking study report, and a comprehensive draft followed by a final technical evaluation report that analyses and synthesizes findings, conclusions and emerging lessons.
IDEV will lead some components internally and will provide guidance and ensure compliance with standards during the design and conduct of the evaluation, ensure quality control at all stages and also participate in missions where possible.
The start of activities is planned for December 2023 and the production of the final technical evaluation report for April 2024. Expressions of interest must be received by e-mail no later than 10 November 2023, 17h00 local time (Abidjan).
A full technical and financial proposal will be requested from firms who are shortlisted.
