Validity Foundation is looking for an evaluator to work with us on the Voices for Justice project.

Application Deadline: 25 April.

Validity is an international non-governmental human rights organisation that uses legal strategies to promote, protect and defend the human rights of people with mental disabilities worldwide.

Voices for Justice is an EU co-funded project focused on the rights of people with disabilities who are victims of crime. The project is coordinated by Validity Foundation and is taking place in seven EU countries – Bulgarian, Croatia, Czechia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania.

Validity is looking for an experienced consultant to evaluate the Voices for Justice project through its progression.

The work will include:

  • Developing a monitoring and evaluation framework and tools together with clearly articulated methods of investigation, principles and approaches, using both qualitative and quantitative indicators to assess the project.
  • Making general recommendations to Validity senior management based on the findings of the evaluation to enhance internal processes for project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Drawing out lessons from the project of broader relevance to: disability rights advocates, professionals in the criminal justice system, victim support services, NGOs and others across the EU; EU grant giving policies and grant management practices.
  • Writing a 20-page evaluation report to be submitted to Validity’s Co-Executive Directors by November 2022. The report will then be sent to the European Commission in accordance with the EC – Validity Grant Agreement timeline.
