Evaluator or evaluation firm to conduct an evaluation of IRI Women’s Democracy Network programming.

 

The International Republican Institute, which is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that supports democratic actors and practices globally, is looking to hire an evaluator or evaluation firm to conduct an evaluation of our Women’s Democracy Network programming.

Period of Performance: October 1, 2022 – September 30, 2023

Background: The International Republican Institute (IRI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, organization
dedicated to advancing freedom and democracy worldwide. Since 1983, IRI has worked to
develop democratic institutions and ideals, carrying out a variety of international programs
to promote freedom, self-government and the rule of law worldwide. IRI provides technical
assistance in the areas of political party strengthening, developing civic institutions and open
elections, promoting democratic governance and advancing the rule of law.

What is WDN?: The Women’s Democracy Network (WDN) seeks to build more inclusive democracies and
to advance women’s leadership in decision-making processes worldwide. WDN has grown
into a network of more than 5,000 women from more than 100 countries with active
Country Chapters, local partner organizations and regional networks encompassing Latin
America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. Since
2018, WDN has supported over 10,000 beneficiaries, equipping them with the skills needed
to participate fully in public life.
