Evaluation period: Late November 2022 to January 2023

Type of contract: External collaboration contract

Language requirements: Fluency in written and spoken French, knowledge of Arabic would be an asset.

 

The ILO Evaluation Office, EVAL, is looking for an evaluator to lead the independent cluster evaluation of the JEUN’ESS projects: Promotion of the social and solidarity economy and creation of decent employment for Tunisian youth and FORTER’SSE: Strengthening the resilience of women’s social and solidarity economy organizations affected by COVID-19 in Tunisia.

The candidate interested in this call for expressions of interest must provide the following information:

  1. Description of the competences, qualifications and experience of the candidate and showing how they best meet the qualifications required for this position,
  2. A list of previous evaluations that are preferable in relation to the context and theme of this call, clearly indicating the role played by the consultant,
  3. The candidate must demonstrate expertise and ability to conduct project/programme evaluations, particularly within the United Nations system and/or with international development organizations,
  4. A declaration from the candidate attesting to his/her availability to conduct the final evaluation in Tunisia and a proposal of the daily professional fees expressed in US Dollar,
  5. A copy of the candidate’s curriculum vitae (which must include information on the candidate’s skills and qualifications mentioned above).
  6. A statement that the applicant has not been involved in the design and implementation of the projects in question or does not have a privileged personal relationship with ILO officials working directly on the said project in Tunisia,
  7. The names of two contact persons (including telephone and email).
  8. Two reports in which the evaluator was the sole evaluator or team leader.
