Disability inclusive practices in evaluation: Where are we and what can we learn?
The launch of the UN disability inclusion strategy promises to bring a greater focus on disability inclusion in evaluation. This session will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss practical strategies for the challenges as we expand our evaluation practice to be more inclusive. By using interactive tools and real-world examples the panellists, together with the audience, will explore lessons on identifying persons with disabilities and showcase practical ways to engage persons with disabilities in evaluation.

Changing lives: Rising to the challenge of evaluating country capacity strengthening
The commitments of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and other milestones highlight the importance of country capacity strengthening (CCS) to implement the SDGs. Evaluating CCS activities however presents challenges for evaluators. This event will bring together experiences of different organizations and experts to take stock of the current evaluation practices and tools to assess CCS, and the challenges that remain valuation for delivering credible evidence.
