The International Institute of Educational Planning of the United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO-IIEP) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows: Advisory services of a company for the evaluation of the first phase of the Gender at the Centre Initiative in UNESCO-IIEP Africa Office in Dakar.
a. Evaluation report, with kick off meeting, inception report, country evaluation
reports, interviews and consultations, workshops, and final evaluation report.
b. Evaluation team of 2 to 4 members, evaluation experts in development
programme or education, with strong international expertise including
special focus on sub-Saharan Africa.
c. Delivrables:
i. Kick off meeting: 24 May 2024
ii. Final Inception report : 24 June 2024
iii. Draft country evaluation reports: 9 September 2024
iv. Workshop on country evaluation reports: 16 September 2024
v. Final country evaluation reports: 7 October 2024
vi. Collection of good practice cases and life stories: 7 October 2024
vii. Online workshop to present and discuss draft evaluation findings and
recommendations: 17 October 2024
viii. Final evaluation report: 31 October 2024
The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents.
Interested companies who wish to participate in the OIC must request for a
complete set of Solicitation Documents, available free of charge, from UNESCO
contact person at the address shown below.
The sealed tenders must be delivered by email only on or before 21 April 2024 23:59 p.m. (UTC+2, Paris local time), in strict compliance with the instructions as
stipulated in the Solicitation Documents.
UNESCO-IIEP reserves the right to amend the documents at any time during the
solicitation process. Any amendments or clarifications will be communicated directly to all Bidders who have requested for a complete set of solicitation documents and officially confirmed their intention to submit a sealed tender. No remuneration will be made to companies for preparation and submission of their tenders.
