Independent Development Evaluation at the African Development Bank seeks expressions of interest from individual consultants in the following assignment: Recruitment of a Medium-term Evaluation Quality Assurance Consultant.
The objective of the assignment is to support the department to effectively ensure the quality of evaluation products and processes in accordance with international evaluation criteria, methods, and good practice standards, to help deepen the quality, credibility and usefulness of IDEV’s evaluation work.
The consultant will:
• Support the Quality Assurance of IDEV’s evaluation products from Concept Note through Summary Report by serving as a peer reviewer
• Support and promote across IDEV a culture of high-quality, credible, and useful evaluations, and of consistency in the application of evaluation guiding principles, standards, methodological approaches, methods, tools, and processes.
• Assist evaluation teams to effectively select and use the most appropriate evaluation approaches, designs, and methods for answering the evaluation questions.
