BEID Consulting Services is currently preparing a proposal and is seeking qualified international project manager with below requirements:
- Position: Team Leader
- Requirements:
- Master’s/PhD in economics, development studies or social sciences
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience leading complex programme evaluations, research, and/or monitoring and evaluation assignments.
- Proven track record in managing donor-funded projects (EU, World Bank, ECHO, FCDO, and others), with strong familiarity with UN evaluation frameworks, systems, and procedures.
- Prior experience working on projects in Afghanistan will be considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for programme evaluations, research studies, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) assignments.
- Design and oversee evaluation frameworks, methodologies, and tools, ensuring rigor and compliance with international best practices.
- Manage and supervise multidisciplinary teams, including national and international experts, and ensure effective collaboration and performance.
- Serve as the primary focal point for clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong communication and ensuring expectations are met.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports, including inception, progress, draft, and final evaluation reports.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and validation processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and ethical standards.
- Provide quality assurance and technical review of all project deliverables.
- Identify risks and challenges and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and presentations of findings and recommendations.
- Ensure that cross-cutting issues such as gender, inclusion, and sustainability are integrated into all project activities.
- Support capacity building of team members and local stakeholders where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, organizational policies, and local regulations.
