The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Advisor (MEAL) will support the evidence and learning Unit to ensure quality of WVUK programmes with a view to improve impact; contributing to a robust evidence base, through monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning support to designated programmes and field Offices. The position will be based in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. The MEAL Advisor will support WVUK in the acquisition and management of results/outcomes-based contracting and development impact bond opportunities. S/he is responsible for ensuring development and operationalization of high-quality MEAL systems and reporting on designated WVUK programmes/projects. S/he ensure that WVUK priority countries incorporate best practices to ensure information collected is accurate, timely and disseminated appropriately. The MEAL Advisor will also be actively involved in promoting programme learning through documentation of lessons learned and developing approaches for using data for making decision.
