Episcopal Relief and Development

Episcopal Relief & Development is seeking a dedicated Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer to enhance the effectiveness of our community development and disaster recovery programs worldwide. Our focus areas include Climate Resilience & Rural Development, Gender-Based Violence Prevention & Response, Early Childhood Development, and Disaster Preparedness & Response.

Role Highlights:

  • Travel: Minimal, up to 10% to provide MEL technical support to in-country partners.
  • Focus: Strengthening MEL practices across diverse programs implemented by our global partners.
  • Location Requirements: While this position does not require residing in NYC, occasional travel to the city is necessary for team meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with in-country partners to monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions.
  • Develop and refine MEL frameworks to improve program effectiveness.
  • Facilitate learning and feedback loops between field offices and headquarters.
