Independent Development Evaluation at the African Development Bank is seeking to recruit a Principal Evaluation Officer. This is a full-time staff position at the Bank’s Headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. A Principal Evaluation Officer leads moderately complex evaluations, supervises evaluation teams, mentors and coaches junior colleagues, and supports work programme management and IDEV’s quality assurance activities of the Bank’s interventions (including policies, strategies and operations) in areas related to the private sector, infrastructure (including transport, ICT, urban development, water and sanitation), industrialization, power systems, energy, climate change, and green growth.
We are looking for candidates with at least 6 years of relevant international professional experience as a development evaluator/researcher in designing, conducting, managing, and reporting development evaluation/research studies.
