The Evaluation Office of the International Labour Organization (ILO/EVAL)

 

The Evaluation Office of the International Labour Organization (ILO/EVAL) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified consultants to conduct an independent final evaluation of the ILO-UNIDO-UNDP Joint Project “Egypt Youth Employment: Providing a reason to stay” funded by the Hunan Security Fund.

The duration of the assignment is estimated at a total of 21 working days for the team leader and 14 for the team member over an overall lapsed period between end April and June 2023.

Evaluation teams and individual team leader and/or team member applications are accepted.

Company and/or individual contracts are possible.

Interested candidates are required to supply the following information together with a Covering Letter:

  1. Applicants full name
  2. Indication of the role that the candidate(s) is/are applying
  3. Applicants professional profile- a description of how the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience are relevant to the required qualifications of this assignment (maximum 2 pages)
  4. A list of previous evaluations that are relevant to the context and subject matter of this assignment, indicating the role played by the consultant(s) applying (they can be highlighted in the CV)
  5. A copy of the candidate/s curriculum vitae (CV)
  6. A statement confirming their availability to conduct this assignment,
  7. A statement confirming that the candidate/s have no previous involvement in the implementation and delivery of the project to be evaluated, or a personal relationship with any ILO, UNDP or UNIDO officials who are engaged in the project
  8. A specific statement that the evaluation will comply with UN Norms and standards
  9. The names of two referees (including phone and email) who can be contacted
  10. Copies of two evaluation reports in which the evaluator has been the sole evaluator/ team leader or team member (depending the role the applicant is presenting her/his candidature) in the last five years
  11.  A financial proposal indicating a daily professional fee expressed in US dollars. Note that fees must be commensurate with the consultants’ qualifications and experience.

Women applications are encouraged.

 NOTE: Applications submitted without a fee/rate in US$ will not be considered for evaluation.
