Doctoral and Early Career Network (DEC)

 

In this online workshop, I will describe the process of putting together the documents required for an academic job application and how these documents should be tailored to different types of academic jobs. I
will also present the different types of opportunities available in Singapore for international scholars of education-related fields.

Singapore is an island-city located in South-East Asia and is a wellfunded, leading destination for researchers in many fields. The country and region are rich in cultural and linguistic diversity, which
affords unique research opportunities.

Amelia Yeo is an assistant professor with the Psychology, and Child & Human Development (PCHD) department at the National Institute of Education (NIE), an institute within Nanyang Technological University. Amelia earned her PhD (Psychology) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she worked on various projects at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER).
