Save the Children
Save the Children International works in all contexts to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children, and create lasting change in children’s lives.
Save the Children’s ambitious strategy for 2022-24 places a strong emphasis on the key role of research and evidence in driving up our impact for children, both in our programmes and in our policy, advocacy and campaigns work.
The primary role of the Research and Evaluation (R&E) Specialist is to be the Principal Investigator designing, leading and conducting:
- Research and assessments to inform program design; campaigning and advocacy; and planning and decision-making at the regional and country level; and
- Evaluations of high priority programs, advocacy and campaigning work that Save the Children is implementing across the globe. This includes interventions both within and across countries, to inform Save the Children on the impact and efficiency of our programming and facilitate meta-analysis.
The Research and Evaluation (R&E) Specialist is a senior team reporting to the Global R&E Director and part of a team of R&E Specialists and R&E Officers deployed to deliver studies for Save the Children Country and Regional offices.
