Brief outline of Project:

The Global Coffee Platform (GCP) is inviting proposals from qualified organizations to conduct baseline studies for its Collective Action Programs in Uganda and Kenya.

The primary objective of this assignment is to establish baseline information for the indicators outlined in the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Plans of the two programs. More specifically, the baseline study aims to:

  • Establish baseline data for program indicators to measure progress and impact
  • Assess the current socio-economic status of smallholder coffee farmers in Uganda and Kenya
  • Identify key challenges and opportunities within the coffee value chain

This study will provide a comprehensive understanding of the starting point for both programs and enable effective monitoring and evaluation of their progress and outcomes over time.

Interested firms and consultants are requested to submit their proposals to: haq@globalcoffeeplatform.org

For more information, including the Terms of Reference (ToRs) and application guidelines, please visit https://www.globalcoffeeplatform.org/latest/2025/request-for-proposals/

We look forward to receiving your proposals and working together to support smallholder coffee farmers through evidence-driven collective action.
