Salary: Circa £38,000 – £41,000 per annum, depending on experience

We’re looking for someone with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to play a pivotal role in improving the way we use evidence – making sure our strategy and all our work is based on high-quality insights drawn from robust data.
Leading the development of a new observatory function, from initial concept to an established way of working, you will shape our approach to collating and interrogating data from monitoring, research, and evaluation activities. You will bring together colleagues to generate new insights from the data that can be used by anyone from trustees to front line staff, in campaigns and in service delivery, to inform our strategy and our operations.
Supported by a small team, you will also be responsible for helping colleagues to develop monitoring, evidence, evaluation and insight capabilities; implementing and further developing our evaluation framework, tracking progress against our strategy across the UK and internationally; and for compiling and presenting strategic evaluation reports and the annual Directors’ report.
