The Power of Dialogue (PoD) Consortium is looking for a team of external consultants to conduct a Mid-Term Review of our programme.
The purpose of this review will be to generate insight to help towards learning and steering of the programme. The review will evaluate the implementation of interventions and the achievement of (intermediate) outcome results in PoD for the period between 2021 and mid-2023. This will be done through a desk study; analyses of key documents; field visits; and interviews with the steering committee, staff, partners and stakeholders.
We are therefore looking for team of 2-3 people (drawn from an independent firm or organization) with extensive experience in reviewing and evaluating democracy and governance assistance programmes. The team should demonstrate expertise in political party work; youth and women’s political leadership development; political dialogue and peacebuilding; and partnership development.
Bidders are requested to prepare a Technical and Financial Proposal. Please see our Terms of Reference for more details. Date of submission of the proposal is 1 February, 2023.
About the Power of Dialogue programme
The Power of Dialogue programme started in 2021 and will run until 2025. It is funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as part of the Power of Voices grant instrument. The Power of Dialogue Consortium comprises NIMD, the Gorée Institute (Senegal), Akina Mama wa Africa – AMwA (Uganda) and the Centre des Études Méditerranéennes Internationales – CEMI (Tunisia). The Consortium focuses on empowering women, youth and other marginalized groups to effectively influence and participate in political processes, with the ultimate aim of helping to build more sustainable and inclusive societies.
