Please join us for a powerful hour of discussion on transformative evaluation in action with Dr. Donna Mertens. Dr. Mertens (professor emeritus, Gallaudet University) is the inaugural winner of the TEI Social Betterment Award and an internationally recognized evaluator whose work has shaped the field of evaluation. The primary focus of her work is transformative mixed-methods inquiry in diverse communities that prioritizes ethical implications of research and evaluation in support of human rights and social justice.
This webinar will be hosted by Dr. Stewart I. Donaldson, Executive Director of The Evaluators’ Institute (TEI), and will explore how transformative evaluation can be applied as a tool for driving ethical and socially impactful change. This session will conclude with Dr. Mertens’ reflections on the future of evaluation through a transformative lens, followed by Q&A session on how evaluators can integrate these principles into their own practice.
