Description:
Did you know that ChatGPT can do much more than just answer simple questions? Did you know that you ‘prompt’ Artificial Intelligence rather than ‘ask’ it? If you’re only using AI tools for basic queries like ‘What are the different types of participatory evaluation methods?’, you’re missing out on its incredible capabilities!
ChatGPT can actually analyze transcripts from interviews and focus group discussions, turning them into comprehensive reports with summarized themes.

Aim of Workshop: To give practical tips for researchers and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) practitioners on how to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude.ai and any other AI) to analyse qualitative data.

Target Audience: Researchers, development and M&E professionals who are at varying stages of their career. The assumption is that most people would never have used AI or have heard of the tools, so the workshop will be pitched at an introductory level. Persons are however being encouraged to make a free account with ChatGPT and Claude.ai before the workshop so they can fully participate in the exercises on the day of the event.

Recording: As persons are in different time zones, the time of the workshop may not be convenient for everyone. Therefore, the workshop will be recorded for persons to (re) watch at their convenience. By attending the workshop you give your consent for the recording.

Presenter: Dr. Philip Adu, Founder & Methodology Expert Center for Research Methods Consulting, LLC https://www.centerforresearchmethods.com/
