Networking Education: Diverse Realities, Common Horizons
Together with the 17th Spanish & 9th Ibero-American Education Conference

Location: Santiago de Compostela, Spain

In response to the latest developments of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, the World Education Research Association (WERA), and Sociedad Espanola de Pedagogía (SEP), in conjunction with Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, and Red Transdisciplinar de Investigación Educativa (RETINDE) have decided to postpone the 2020 WERA Focal Meeting in Santiago de Compostela, Spain to 2021. These partners understand that postponing the conference may result in some inconveniences, but the well-being of our partners, presenters and participants remains our utmost priority.

All accepted submissions for the WERA 2020 Focal Meeting are considered as valid for the WERA 2020+1 Focal Meeting. The expectation is that you will retain your position on the programme and that your paid registration fee will be valid for the WERA 2020+1 Focal Meeting. Please complete this form to affirm your presence at the July 2021 meeting in Santiago de Compostela.

Those delegates who are unable to attend the conference will be able to withdraw their contributions and request a refund of registration until March 31, 2021 (less 15% for taxes and administrative expenses).

The WERA 2020+1 Focal Meeting will be held in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, from 7th to 9th July 2021. The main theme of the meeting will be Networking Education: Diverse Realities, Common Horizons. The Meeting is an integral part of the 17th Spanish & 9th Ibero-American Education Conference. As one of the founding members of WERA, the Spanish Pedagogical Society is pleased to host this event.

The Organizing Committee of the WERA 2020+1 Focal Meeting is very much looking forward to receiving you at the historical city of Santiago de Compostela and we wish you a ‘Good Camino’.
