Description:
The launch of the UN disability inclusion strategy promises to bring a greater focus on disability inclusion in evaluation. WFP has recently launched guidance on Disability Inclusion in Evaluation to facilitate the effective integration of disability considerations in WFP evaluations and support the organization in assessing progress in this work. This session will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss practical strategies for addressing challenges as we expand our evaluation practice to be more inclusive. By using real-world examples, the panellists together with the audience will explore lessons on identifying persons with disabilities and showcase practical ways to engage persons with disabilities in evaluation.
