Karin Kohlweg is a monitoring and evaluation advisor with more than fifteen years of experience in international development. She has a lot of experience in planning, managing and implementing different types of studies, evaluations and reviews. She also conducted a good number of trainings and workshops regarding theory of change, results-orientation, project cycle management, monitoring and evaluations for different staff members, Government officials and NGOs. She is also teaching at various universities.

From 2007-2016 she was the Head of Evaluation at the Austrian Development Agency in Vienna. She also worked for UNICEF Bangladesh (2001-2006) and UNICEF Nepal (1998-2000)

From 2013-2016 Karin was also the Vice-Chair of the OECD DAC Network on Development Evaluation. In 2017/18 she founded her own company called „pme Kohlweg Consulting“, http://www.pmekohlweg.com.

She holds a university degree in Social Anthropology and in Social Development Planning and Management.
