Date(s): 6 weeks starting 13 April 2023

Arts-Based Methods for Evaluators is an exciting beginner-level online course that introduces evaluators (in any sector) to creative techniques for data collection. We explore 4 low-cost and easy-to-implement techniques: poetry, drawingphoto elicitation, and collage and strategies for more imaginative and impactful qualitative interviewing. Real-world examples and hands-on skill-building activities make this course a must-have for folks who practice program evaluation in any facet of their work and want more creative techniques for collecting data. Zero artistic skill or familiarity with arts methods is needed. At least some experience with qualitative data collection and analysis techniques is required.

The course will run for 6 weeks starting April 13, 2023 and is $875.00 CAD (+GST for those in Canada) which is about $650 USD.  All sessions will be in English.

Facilitators Maya Lefkowich and Jennica Nichols from AND Implementation Inc are passionate about making creative methods for evaluation useful, accessible, and meaningful. They bring expertise from their work with government, non-profit, healthcare, and social service sectors.
