Overview of curriculum:
Back to Basics: Introduction to Gender Concepts and Theories
• Definitions of concepts (gender roles, gender norms, gender audit, gender analysis etc.)
• Exploring intersectionality and how different identities (e.g., race, ethnicity, class) intersect with gender.

Gender Mainstreaming
• Overview of the different frameworks for assessing gender such as Gender Analysis Matrix to understand the gender dimensions of a programme.

Gender-sensitive Indicators and M&E
• Identifying indicators that capture changes in gender dynamics, women’s empowerment, and gender equality.
• Importance of gender-disaggregated data is collected and analyzed.
• Methods for collecting sensitive gender-related information.
