Position Description:
Maximizing Options to Advance Informed Choice for HIV Prevention (MOSAIC) is a 5 year global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) whose objective is to ensure that individuals, especially women, can protect themselves from acquiring HIV and other infectious diseases by accelerating introduction and scale-up of new biomedical prevention products and expediting their availability, acceptance, uptake and impact in PEPFAR programs.
The MOSAIC Technical Advisor, M&E will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of a comprehensive monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) plan for the project. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Operations, they will develop and maintain systems to collect data and lead analyses to produce information on inputs, outputs, outcomes, and impact of the program. They will collaborate with and provide guidance to project staff, including sub-grantees, on MEL data collection tools and approaches; analyzes data reported from project staff and sub-grantees; and supports training of relevant MOSAIC staff in quality assurance methods. They will share MEL data analyses and will help develop strategies for program improvements as needed.
